Condition monitoring system

Registered pressure vessels’ periodic inspections including internal inspections and pressure tests may be replaced, partly or entirely, by a condition monitoring system. However, a condition monitoring system cannot replace the first period inspection or any modification inspections.

A condition monitoring system is compiled by the pressure vessel owner or holder. The system must respond to same requirements as the periodic inspections. Condition monitoring systems’ functionality is inspected by a notified body.
