Tailored pressure equipment inspection services

Typical examples of pressure equipment are power plant boilers, pulp digesters, columns, heat exchangers, pipework and transportable pressure equipment, among others. The installation, commissioning and startup, supervision, and inspection of pressure equipment are controlled by statutory regulations.

Savo Energy Services is a notified body for pressure equipment inspections audited by the Finnish Accreditation Service (FINAS) and certified by the Finnsh Safety Technology Authority (Tukes). Our inspection competence complies with the requirements of SP023/L01/2009 and covers the following areas, among others:

- Layout plan inspections

- Periodic inspections
- Modification inspections
- Automation system inspections
- Condition monitoring systems.

Our service package is always tailored to match the customer’s needs and process requirements. Our capacity ranges from separate modification inspections to the inspections administration of process and production plants throughout their entire life cycle. To support our total service concept we use a pressure equipment and inspections database, which automatically checks all the plant’s equipment items – that they have been inspected, and that their documentation is up-to-date at all times.

Commissioning and startup service
Our commissioning startup service provision ranges from planning, testing and plant startup to test and performance guarantee runs, including the plant hand-over to the end-users.

Training service
Our training courses cover the entire pressure equipment life cycle – from installation to equipment renovations. The objectives of our user training courses are jointly defined with the customer so as to focus the course content on the trainee group’s specific needs.
