Automation inspections
Apart from conventional process automation, critical processes and pressure equipment also require a separate safety controller. Its purpose is to put the process into a controlled, safe state in exceptional situations such as power cuts.
Automation inspections are made to test the appropriate functioning of the safety control applications, ensuring safe pressure equipment management even in exceptional situations. In addition, automation inspections include verifying that the safety control system is independent from the process control system and able to function on its own. Any redundant functions will also be tested during automation system inspections.
